What Saints Run Club accesses
Access is read-only. We never post to Strava on your behalf — no activities, kudos, comments, or edits.
When you connect Strava, you authorize us — through Strava’s own sign-in screen — to read:
- Your Strava profile (name and profile photo), so we can show it’s connected.
- Your running activities — distance, time, pace, elevation, and route — so you can view your stats in the app and link a run to a club event.
Your Strava access tokens are held securely on our server and are never accessible to the app on your device. We don’t sell your Strava data, share it with advertisers, or use it to build a marketing profile. Full detail is in our Privacy Policy.
Connecting Strava
Connecting is entirely optional — the Saints Run Club app works without it.
- Open the Profile tab.
- Tap Connect with Strava.
- Approve access on Strava’s authorization screen.
Your recent runs will sync shortly afterward.
Disconnecting Strava
You can revoke access at any time, from either side. You don’t need to contact us first.
In the Saints Run Club app
Open the Profile tab, find the Strava section, and tap Disconnect. This ends the connection and removes your synced activities from Saints Run Club.
On Strava
Go to strava.com/settings/apps, find Saints Run Club, and choose Revoke Access. This works even if you no longer have the app installed.
Deleting your data
Disconnecting removes your synced Strava activities from the app. If you want your whole Saints Run Club account gone as well, you can delete it at any time — in the app under Profile › Delete account, or by email. Step-by-step instructions are on our Support page, and what deletion covers is described in our Privacy Policy.
Troubleshooting
My runs aren’t showing up.
Syncing isn’t instant — give it a few minutes after the activity finishes uploading to Strava, then reopen the Profile tab. If runs still don’t appear, disconnect and reconnect Strava from your profile; that refreshes the authorization.
Some activities are missing.
Activities you’ve marked private on Strava, and non-running activity types, may not appear in the app. Changing an activity’s visibility on Strava will let it sync on a later refresh.
It says I need to reconnect.
Strava authorizations end if you change your Strava password, revoke access at strava.com/settings/apps, or leave the connection unused for a long time. Tap Connect with Strava in your profile to authorize again.
Something else is wrong.
Email svintsrunclub@gmail.com and tell us what happened, roughly when, and your device and app version. We’ll take a look.
